If your city has a water infrastructure project that will help meet a wasteload reduction or effluent limit, it may be eligible for a Point Source Implementation Grant (PSIG).

The program is administered by the Public Facilities Authority (PFA) and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), and any projects must be on the project priority list of the MPCA or Minnesota Department of Health. If your city has a PSIG-eligible project that meets the criteria and that will be ready to go by the summer of 2022, you should submit an application. Even if you are seeking bonding funds, if your project is otherwise eligible for PSIG you should request placement on the list by July 31.

Grant application forms are available on the PFA website at mn.gov/pfa. Completed applications must be postmarked or sent via e-mail no later than July 31.
