The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency recently released dates for public stakeholder meetings regarding the Draft PFAS Monitoring Plan. MPCA released the Draft PFAS Monitoring Program in November, and is seeking comments through Dec. 20. MESERB has requested an extension for the comment period so we have time to thoroughly review the content and develop comments. We will be in touch soon regarding the comments for members; however, due to the quickly approaching date for the stakeholder meeting, we wanted to get the following information out to everyone as soon as possible.
The stakeholder meeting for wastewater will be held on Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. More information on the multi-sector draft plan can be found on MPCA’s website along with the Draft PFAS monitoring plan and a comment form for providing feedback. This presentation will focus on major elements of the wastewater component of the draft plan, as currently written.
